Look at the sample list of psychological disorders from the DSM on the link above. Peruse the list and familiarize yourself with them. We studied some of them – compare your notes to what I taught. You and your partner must choose 2 disorders (You cannot choose a sexual disorder…sorry, playa.) and create a Google Slides Presentation that you will present to the class. You must use the information you find here and from two other sources, one of the other sources must be from the Boundless textbook on psych disorders; the link for it is under Psych Disorders on the class website. IF Boundless does not have information on your disorder, find another reputable source.
You must describe the disorder, the symptoms, the history, and also give examples – video or story or pics – THE MORE INFORMATION THE BETTER. Let’s reiterate that, THE. MORE. INFORMATION. THE. BETTER. Your presentation must be between 3 and 5 min and be ready for questions. You are teaching this material to the class.
Once you choose your disorders, we will go around the class to be sure there are no repeats…so have a backup disorder on tap. Look all the way down the website, there are some at the bottom too.
