Day 1 – Read the Boundless Chapter Introduction “Nature vs Nurture” and “Methods for Research” http://oer2go.org/mods/en-boundless/www.boundless.com/psychology/textbooks/boundless-psychology-textbook/human-development-14/introduction-to-human-development-69/nature-vs-nurture-265-12800/index.html

Day 2: Read the Chapter Section on Theories of Human Development. Some, like Freud, will be review. TAKE NOTES & THINK & MAKE CONNECTIONS AS YOU READ. You should know these men and their theories for a quiz next week. http://oer2go.org/mods/en-boundless/www.boundless.com/psychology/textbooks/boundless-psychology-textbook/human-development-14/theories-of-human-development-70/index.html
You can Google each psychologist and his theory for a video on each if you need the auditory to help with the reading! There are some good ones out there! Here are some I suggest as a supplement to your reading:

Discussion: In psychology, we know there is no “debate” over nature vs nurture. We know they both play a role in development. The question is to what extent. Which theories above lean more toward nurture and which lean more toward nature as the key factor of development?
